A lo largo de las líneas que siguen se procederá a realizar un análisis de tal figura que, sin duda resulta esencial por cuanto este tipo de contratos, tan presentes en la sociedad actual, entraña un alto riesgo de sobreendeudamiento para el consumidor que, quizás desconocedor de los entresijos de esta figura contractual y sus consecuencias, firma el contrato de crédito sin detenerse a considerar qué obligaciones asume tras la misma, o sin haber sido, tal vez, debidamente informado al respecto.The legal recognition of the right of withdrawal in respect of credit agreements for consumersis one of the biggest news that the Law 16/2011 issued in this regard introduced into the package of measures destined for consumer protection in the implementation phase of the contract.
