AB This doctoral thesis focuses on the environmental analysis through themethodology of Life Cycle Assessment of innovative alternatives for the application of the principles of circulareconomy in strategic primary sectors in Galicia. Specifically, the valorisation of wine residues to obtain value-addedproducts, the application of traditional techniques in the in-shore fishery, the application of multi-product strategiesin the canning sector, and the level of eco-efficiency in dairy and aquaculture farms were analysed. The results ofthis thesis have made it possible to determine the "hot spots" of the different practices, as well as benchmarkingwith other management alternatives.
