RT Generic T1 Pursuing environmental sustainability in the vehicle painting process in view of compliance with formaldehyde emission limits A1 García Muñoz, Aída Isabel K1 Painting vehicles K1 Air pollution K1 Hot spots K1 Environmental impact AB The main goals of this project are:Detect the hot spots from the main painting processes that cause the highest environmentalimpacts.Propose possible future actions to reduce the impacts based on the hot spots identified.Study the environmental impacts of the different corrective actions that are alreadyimplemented at the plant to reduce the formaldehyde emissions as a single Scenario in order to be able to compare the environmental situation before and after those actions.Comparative study of the potential environmental impacts of the two possibilities that arebeing studied by the company to reduce the formaldehyde emissions at the Top coat ovens.Economic comparative study between the two different alternatives for abatement technologies. Discussion between the results and the real decision of the company.Study of another additional improvement Scenario. Future possible application.Comparative analysis of the different Scenarios of study from the direct emissions andhuman toxicity point of view to evaluate if the target of the Industrial Emissions Directiveis achieved through those actions YR 2017 FD 2017-07 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10347/17855 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10347/17855 LA eng NO Traballo Fin de Máster en Enxeñaría Ambiental.
