RT Journal Article T1 Copper-catalyzed O-alkenylation of phosphonates A1 Vázquez Galiñanes, Nuria A1 Andón Rodríguez, Mariña A1 Gómez Roibás, Patricia A1 Fañanás-Mastral, Martín K1 Alkenylation K1 Copper K1 C(sp2)–O Bond Formation K1 Hypervalent Iodine K1 Phosphonates AB Copper catalysis allows the direct oxygen alkenylation of dialkyl phosphonates with alkenyl(aryl)iodonium salts with selective transfer of the alkenyl group. This novel methodology proceeds with a wide range of phosphonates under mild conditions and gives straightforward access to valuable enol phosphonates in very good yields.
