Nine adult specimens (3 males and 6 females) between 118-183 mm standard length (SL) were identified combining morphological and molecular approaches. Specimens were caught during scuba diving surveys carried out between 2010 and 2012. These records constitute valuable information to be considered in assessment measures of H. hippocampus populations for conservation purposes PB Société française d'ichtyologie YR 2014 FD 2014 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10347/26144 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10347/26144 LA eng NO Cybium 38(1): 74-76 (2014) NO The study was financed by Projects CGL2009- 08386 and 09MDS022402PR.
