AB Over the last decades, heavy ions collisions experiments at CERN and BNLhave offered an unique window to study QCD under hot and dense conditions. In such high energy events a newstate of matter, the quark gluon plasma, is formed and a big effort has been made towards exploring its properties,which are intimately related to the origins of the Universe and the fundamental nature of ordinary matter.
