First, we construct an associated Green’s function as a series of functions with the help of spectral theory, and obtain some of its properties. Under suitable conditions on the nonlinear part of the nabla fractional difference equation, we deduce two existence results of the considered nonlinear problem by means of two Leray–Schauder fixed point theorems. We provide a couple of examples to illustrate the applicability of the established results PB MDPI YR 2021 FD 2021 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10347/26688 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10347/26688 LA eng NO Symmetry 2021, 13(6), 1101; https://doi.org/10.3390/sym13061101 NO The first author is partially supported by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI) of Spain under grant MTM2016-75140-P, co-financed by the European Community fund FEDER.
