AB This thesis aims to advance nanomedicine by developing nanometal-organic frameworks for enhanced drug delivery. Varioussystems were synthesized and tailored to investigate theirencapsulation abilities and surface modi ications to providethem with targeting capabilities. Additionally, nanocompositesresponsive to near-infrared (NIR) light were created,comprising a core of gold nanoparticles and a shell of nanometal-organic frameworks. These intelligent nanocarrierswere designed to facilitate intracellular cargo delivery throughinnovative strategies.
