AB El texto que presentamos nos sitúa ante una doble lectura acerca del ocioy la educación social en clave de desarrollo humano: de un lado, la que reivindica elimportante protagonismo del ocio como un modo de educar y educarse en la cotidianeidadde nuestras sociedades, decisivo para el bienestar de las personas y su calidad devida; de otro, el que argumenta sobre la necesidad de una educación que ponga énfasisen los valores del ocio como una experiencia cívica, mediante programas, iniciativas,recursos, etc., que contribuyan a la formación integral de las personas, desde su infanciahasta la vejez, en distintos escenarios y contextos sociales (las familias, las escuelas ylas comunidades). Siendo conscientes de los desafíos que ambos logros comportan, sepropone vincular sus realizaciones a un quehacer pedagógico y social de amplias miras,en la reflexión y la acción, las teorías y las prácticas educativas, los saberes y los hechos
AB The text that we present situates us in front of a double reading about leisureand social education in a human development context: of a side, the one who claimsthe important role of leisure as a way to educate and be educated in the daily life of oursocieties, decisive for people welfare and his quality of life. Of another, who argues theneed of an education that emphasizes the values of leisure as a civic experience throughprograms, initiatives, resources, etc. to contribute the integral development of people,from childhood to old age, in different stages and social contexts (families, schools andcommunities). Being aware of the challenges that both attainments comport, the textpropose to link their realizations to a social and pedagogical task, in the reflection andthe action, in the theories and the educational practices, in the knowledge and the facts
