RT Journal Article T1 Phosphomonosterase and dehydrogenase activities in a horticulture soil under integrated and organic management A1 Ribó, Marta A1 Albiach, Remedios A1 Canet, Rodolfo A1 Pomares, Fernando K1 Soil enzymes K1 Biological activity K1 Ecological techniques K1 Integrated and organic production AB The effect of integrated and organic managementon the levels of dehydrogenase and alkalynephosphomonosterase (EC 3.1.3.1) activities wasdetermined in a horticultural soil during a four year croprotation, finding no statistically-significant differences. Sincesoil tillage and fertilization were similar, the absence ofeffects suggests that the well-reasoned use of small rates ofagrochemicals in the integrated management for weed andpest control may have negligible effects on soilmicrobiological activity.
