RT Dissertation/Thesis T1 Functionalisation of molecule-based magnetic materials for controlled assembly in carbon nanotubes A1 Osorio Celis, Marcelo K1 Spin crossover K1 single ion magnet K1 fullerene K1 nanotube AB This thesis investigates the synthesis, characterisation, and magnetic behaviour of novel metal complexes incorporating fullerene-functionalised ligands. The primary goal is to assess their potential for spin-crossover (SCO) and single-ion magnet (SIM) applications. Central to this study is the exploration of how ligand modifications influence magnetic properties, as well as the encapsulation of these complexes within single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) to develop advanced functional materials.
