AB Aflatoxins are the major mycotoxins that can be present in foodstuff, andtheir levels are under supervision in most countries. Data regarding the presence of aflatoxins in acquacultureproducts are scarce. This Thesis encompases an overall strategy for studying the risks of aflatoxins from culturedfish consumption: aflatoxins content in fish feed used in aquaculture facilities, aflatoxins content in cultured fishspecies produced in Galicia, and aflatoxins bioavailability from raw and cocked fish.
