AB [GL] No estudo do comportamento das aplicacións entre variedades diferenciables xoga unpapel importante o coñecemento das propiedades das aplicacións tanxentes. Isto leva aconsiderar as inmersións e as submersións. As inmersións, e o caso particular dos embebementosregulares, son esenciais no estudo das subvariedades e as submersións son necesariaspara estudar as variedades cocientes. Analizamos diferentes formas de considerar as subvariedadese tamén estudamos variedades cocientes, en particular as que se poden obterpor accións propiamente discontinuas de grupos. Tamén incluímos varios exemplos.
AB [EN] In the study of the behaviour of smooth maps between differentiable manifolds, theknowledge of the properties of the tangent application at each point plays a crucial role.This leads us to consider immersions and submersions. Immersions, together with theparticular case of embeddings, are essential in the study of submanifolds while submersionsare necessary to study quotient manifolds. We analyze different ways of consideringsubmanifolds and also regard quotient manifolds, particularly those obtained by properlydiscontinuous actions of groups. Concrete examples are also presented.
