AB En las aglomeraciones urbanas los procesos de cambio se caracterizan por su intensidady dinamismo. La ocupación del espacio por distintos usos del suelo puede traducirseen datos que permiten seguir la reciente transformación de algunos paisajes andaluces. Ahorabien, para comprender y actuar sobre tales procesos parece necesario recurrir a métodos capacesde analizar hechos espaciales complejos. La ecología política aporta una perspectiva multicausalque se ha mostrado muy útil para intentar explicar la rápida y caótica transformación deestos paisajes del sector metropolitano del Aljarafe sevillano.ABSTRACT. In the urban sprawls, the processes of change are distinguiseh by their intensityand dynamism. The space occupation by different uses of the ground can be translated intodata that allow to follow the recent transformation of some Andalusian landscapes. However,in order to understand and act on such processes, it seems necessary to fall back on methodscapable of analysing complex spacial facts. The political ecology brings a multicausal perspectivewhich has proved to be very useful to try to explain the quick and chaotic transformationof these landscapes in the metropolitan sector of the Sevillian Aljarafe.
