AB This paper describes how the once nomadic Ati people, locatedin the islands of Panay and Guimaras, Philippines, courageouslylive through poverty, illiteracy, prejudice, displacement, stateneglect, and mental health problems. It is desired that thisinitiative could provide government agencies and otherconcerned groups with a concrete venue to work with for theoverall wellbeing of this and other marginalized indigenouspeoples in the region. By echoing the fundamental worldviewand cultural identity of this group, their other needs could beholistically addressed as well.
