AB Este artigo aborda unha figura xurdida do Plan de Vivenda 2005-2008, as Áreas deRehabilitación Integral (ARI), aprobado polo Ministerio de Vivienda do goberno estatal. Permite,coa achega de importantes fondos públicos, a recuperación de vivendas de particulares,edificios e a reurbanización de barrios con máis de quince anos de antigüidade con problemasde degradación física, social e ambiental. No traballo analízase a significación en Galicia destafigura e apórtase unha metodoloxía para a elaboración da Memoria-Programa, documentoesixido no Plan para solicitar unha ARI, no que debe demostrarse a necesidade de rehabilitacióndo barrio en cuestión.This article approaches an instrument appeared in the Public Housing Plan 2005-2008 (Spanish Ministry of Housing), called Areas of Integrated Rehabilitation (ARI). It allows,with public economic investment, the recovery of houses, buildings and the full redevelopmentof districts with more than fifteen years old with problems of physical, social and environmentaldegradation. In the work the meaning in Galicia of this figure is analyzed. The paper presents amethodology for the elaboration of Memoria Programa, document demanded in the Plan to askfor an ARI. In it must demonstrate the necessity of the rehabilitation of the district at issue.
