AB The circumstances in which cardiorespiratory arrest may occur andcardiopulmonary resuscitation be necessary are highly variable and in certain conditions, basic life support andadvanced life support interventions may require modifications in relation to the general recommendations and havephysiological influence on rescuers. For this reason, specific adaptive training programs should be assessed incertain special environments, such as high altitude, high ambient temperatures or when dealing with people withinfectious diseases.
