T1 Ármonicos e series de Fourier

AB [ES] La música y las matemáticas están íntimamente relacionadas. La finalidad de estetrabajo es explorar una pequeña parte de esta relación, centrándonos en los armónicos.Para ello haremos una introducción histórica, seguida de un resumen de un artículo escritopor Daniel Bernoulli, luego estudiaremos distintos tipos de afinación relacionadas con losarmónicos y la afinación que se usa hoy en día y por último deduciremos la ecuación dela cuerda vibrante y veremos las solución de d’Alembert y la solución por separación devariables empleando series de Fourier.
AB [EN] Music and mathematics are closely related. The purpose of this work is to explore asmall part of this relationship, focusing on harmonics. For this we will make an historicalintroduction, followed by a summary of an article written by Daniel Bernoulli, then we willstudy different types of tuning related to harmonics and the tuning that is used nowadaysand finally we will deduce the vibrating string equation and we will see the d’Alembertsolution and the separation of variables solution using Fourier series.
