AB This thesis focuses on the study of Lagrangian transport indifferent types of fluids. The aim of this work is to exploreinteractions between particles and fluids in two different areasof science; oceanography and meteorology. Differentpractical applications, such as the movement of plastics in theocean and the transport of moisture in the atmosphere, willbe examined in both study areas. To do this, we will explore theuse of numerical Lagrangian models to validate resultsand test new hypotheses.
