T1 De lonxitudes, áreas e volumes a medidas: un breve percorrido histórico

AB [GL] A necesidade de calcular lonxitudes, áreas ou volumes preséntasenos de forma habitual: á hora de comparar precios ao facer a compra, ou cando decidimos que camiño tomar, medimos de forma natural as cantidades antes de elixir. Entendemos de forma intuitiva o cálculo de moitas áreas e volumes, mais engadir rigor matemático a estas ideas non e unha tarea sinxela.Neste traballo faremos un percorrido histórico seguindo o desenvolvemento de diversas aproximacións e cálculos que tiveron lugar nesta busca de rigor, rematando coas disciplinas que finalmente tomaron dita tarefa: Teoría da Medida e Cálculo Integral.
AB [EN] The need to evaluate distances, areas or volumes happens upon us on a regular fashion: when comparing prices while shopping, or when deciding which route to take, we measure the discerning amounts in a natural way before choosing. We understand the calculations for many areas and volumes on an intuitive level, but filling these ideas with mathematical rigor is no simple task.Through this paper we will undertake a historical course, following  the development of several estimates and calculations as said rigor was sought, culminating in the two disciplines that ended up taking care of it: Measure and Integral Calculus.
