AB El objetivo del presente trabajo es efectuaruna crítica constructiva a algunas de las ideasexpuestas por Colom (2000, 2002) y Colom yAndrés-Pueyo (1999). Defienden la tesis dellibro de Herrnstein y Murray (1994) para justificarlas diferencias biologicistas del coeficientede inteligencia (CI) entre las comunidadesautónomas del Reino de España. Seconcluye que dicha interpretación es falsa.Proponemos explicaciones socioculturalesalternativas
AB The objective of the present paper is tocarry out a constructive criticism of some ofideas exposed by Colom (2000, 2002) and Colom and Pueyo (1999). They defend thethesis of the book of Herrnstein and Murray(1994) to justify the biologicistic differencesin the intelligence quotient (IQ) between theindependent regions of the Kingdom ofSpain. We conclude that this interpretation isfalse and propose alternatives socioculturalexplanations
