Un enjeu idéologique et ethnographique A1 Fuentes Ríos, Aránzazu K1 Victoriano García Martí K1 turismo literario K1 Santiago de Compostela K1 Rosalía de Castro AB Each literary city attracts a different kind of tourism. Based on a case study of Santiago de Compostela, we will focus on the convergence of ideological, ethnographic, and literary subjects in the construction of a literary city. Since the second half of the 19th century, different actors have shaped the model of a city whose visitors were no longer pilgrims, but instead literate travelers. Among this vast group, we will focus on Victoriano García Martí, the forerunner of the city's conception in terms of literary tourism. The analysis of his writings, both his journalistic texts and his essays, will show to what extent this model of a literary city arises from both ideological and literary questions. We will then analyze the literary routes proposed by García Martí in relation to the famous writer Rosalía de Castro. Throughout this second part, a cartographic representation, based on the Geographic Information System (GIS), will allow us to observe the interaction between reality and literary discourse in the literary itineraries proposed by García Martí.
