AB En diversas entrevistas del año 1933 Valle-Inclán afirmó estar preparando un libro de la seriede El Ruedo Ibérico en el que exploraría la influencia del Vaticano en la política española. Esteartículo se propone examinar las huellas de este plan narrativo que se han conservado en el archivomanuscrito perteneciente a la familia Valle-Inclán Alsina, pues sabemos que el escritorsiguió trabajando en su proyecto histórico hasta su muerte. Tras un examen de la documentaciónindirecta localizada fundamentalmente en las páginas de la prensa periódica que testimoniael proceso de redacción de este relato nunca publicado, se describirán los desconocidos planesde estructuración y los borradores de trabajo pertenecientes a este dossier de génesis quepermitan apreciar las líneas argumentales y los rasgos de caracterización fundamentales de lospersonajes protagonistas de este proyecto inconcluso
AB In various interviews done in 1933 Valle-Inclán said he was preparing a book for the historicseries El Ruedo Ibérico that would explore the influence of the Vatican in Spanish politics.This article seeks to examine the traces of this narrative plan that have been preserved inthe manuscript file belonging to the Valle-Inclán Alsina family, because we know that the writercontinued to work on this historical project until his death. After examining the indirect documentationlocated primarily in the periodical press which bears witness to the process of writingthis never published story, we will describe the unknown plans of structure and the draftsof work that are part of this creation file and that allow us to perceive the plot lines as well asthe fundamental features of characterization for the prominent protagonists in this incompleteproject
