RT Dissertation/Thesis T1 High energy scattering and emission in QED&QCD media A1 GarcĂ­a Feal, Xabier K1 Theoretical high energy physics K1 heavy ion collisions K1 hadronic physics AB A formalism for the evaluation of the intensity of photon and gluonbremsstrahlung in QED and QCD condensed media is presented whichconsiders general interactions beyond the Fokker-Planck approximation,the angular distribution of the final particles and admits finite orstructured target calculations. The Fokker-Planck results ofMigdal/Zakharov and the BDMPS group are recovered under the adequateapproximations as particular cases. Weinberg's soft photon theorem isshown to saturate the LPM suppression in the soft regime.
