RT Journal Article T1 The Offner imaging spectrometer in quadrature A1 Prieto Blanco, Xesús A1 Montero Orille, Carlos A1 González Núñez, Héctor A1 Mouriz Cereijo, María Dolores A1 López Lago, María Elena A1 Fuente Carballo, Raúl de la AB This is a proposal and description of a new configuration for anOffner imaging spectrometer based on the theory of aberrations of off-planeclassical-ruled spherical diffraction gratings. This new spectrometercomprises a concave mirror used in double reflection and a convexreflection grating operating in quadrature, in a concentric layout. A verysimple procedure obtains designs that are anastigmatic for a given point onthe entrance slit and a given wavelength. Specific examples show that theperformance of this type of system improves the performance of analogousconventional in-plane systems, when compactness and/or high spectralresolution is of fundamental importance PB OSA Publishing SN 1094-4087 YR 2010 FD 2010 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10347/22875 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10347/22875 LA eng NO Xesús Prieto-Blanco, Carlos Montero-Orille, Héctor González-Nuñez, María Dolores Mouriz, Elena López Lago, and Raúl de la Fuente, "The Offner imaging spectrometer in quadrature," Opt.
