AB En 1888 se cometió un crimen en el pueblo burgalés de Nava de Roa. La atrocidad del hecho delictivo y el número de acusados llamó la atención de la prensa. Los periódicos provinciales y madrileños enviaron a sus reporteros a cubrir el juicio, pero, salvo uno, no eran expertos en Derecho. Sus crónicas, sin embargo, aportan notable información jurídica y permiten comprobar los aspectos del proceso que destacaron para sus lectores. Asimismo, se estudia la sentencia de casación del Tribunal Supremo y el debate surgido por el indulto concedido a los condenados a pena de muerte
AB In 1888 a crime was committed in the village of Nava de Roa, in the spanish province of Burgos. The seriousness of the crime and the number of accused caught the attention of the press. The provincial and Madrid journals sent their reporters to report the trial, but, except one, were not experts in law. His chronicles, however, provide significant legal information and allow you to check the aspects of the process that stood out for your readers. Likewise, it examines the judgement of cassation of the Supreme Court and the debate arose by the indult granted to those condemned to death
