AB In the present thesis, different formulations of tacrolimus fortopical-ophthalmic administration have been proposed,supported by extensive preclinical studies in order to achieve aconsistent basis for the treatment of ocular inflammatorydiseases. On the other hand, a pharmacokinetic anddistribution study of an anti-TNFα monoclonal antibody(adalimumab) injected intravitreally was also carried out,allowing to know its behavior in the eye and thus develop newadministration systems.
