AB O artigo explora o papel dos movementos ecofeministas no desenvolvemento da Educación ambiental, os seus antecedentes, a súa definición e ás mulleres españolas que representan este movemento. Nos anos 70, coincidindo na época naque por primeira vez foi acuñado o termo Educación Ambiental, nace o movementoecofeminista da man da francesa Françoise d’Eaubonne. Indagando na informacióndas voces ecofeministas españolas, preténdese analizar as orixes e consecuencias doecofeminismo na sociedade e a súa repercusión na historia da EA española. Existenmoitas mulleres que de forma activa levaron a cabo unha ardua loita pola protección doambiente e da natureza e pola manifestación da importancia que tiña o medio naturalno ámbito educativo. Un claro exemplo foron as irmáns Blanca e Clotilde Catalánou Leonor Serrano Pablo e Gloria Giner de los Ríos. Na actualidade destacan asecofeministas Alicia Puleo e Yayo Herrero.
AB The article explores the role of ecofeminist movement in the development ofEnvironmental Education, its background, its definition and the Spanish women that represent this movement. In the 70s, coinciding with the time when the termEnvironmental Education was coined, the ecofeminist movement was born atthe hands of French Françoise d’Eaubonne. Investigating the information of theSpanish ecofeminist voices, it is intended to analyse the origins and consequencesof ecofeminism in society and its impact on the history of Spanish EE. There aremany women who actively carried out an arduous struggle for the protection of theenvironment and nature and for the manifestation of the importance that the naturalenvironment had in the educational context. A clear example were sisters Blanca andClotilde Catalán or Leonor Serrano Pablo and Gloria Giner de los Ríos. At the present,the ecofeminists Alicia Puleo and Yayo Herrero stand out
