AB La relación entre trastornos de personalidad y consumo de drogas ha cobrado un creciente interés en los últimos años por las dificultades que conlleva en el tratamiento. Pero un aspecto menos analizado es la relación entre trastornos de personalidad y abandono del consumo de tabaco, pues apenas hay estudios al respecto. En el presente artículo el objetivo es analizar la evaluación, tratamiento y posteriores  seguimientos de una persona con un trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo de la personalidad que recibe tratamiento psicológico para dejar de fumar. El resultado de dicho tratamiento muestra que la presencia de trastornos de personalidad no siempre es un factor que dificulte el abandono del consumo de tabaco
AB The relationship between personality disorders and drug consumption has charged a growing interest in the last years for the difficulties in the treatment. But the relationship between personality disorders and smoking cessation are an aspect fewer analyzed, because there are few studies about it. The aim of this study is to analyze the assessment, treatment and follow-ups of a subject with an obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. He received psychological treatment to quit smoke. The result of this treatment shows that the presence of a personality disorder is not always a factor that difficult the smoking cessation
