dc.description.abstractWe present a survey-based intervention through an informative nudge on Agroecological Weed Management (AWM). Data are based on 405 responses by European farmers. An adverse effect of the informational nudge is found. Learning the consequences of the desired practice may nudge the farmer against rather than in favor of adopting it. The effect depends on the current practices adopted, the farmer’s experience, education, age and gender
