Abstract
NF-κB, PI3K/Akt y GR son moléculas esenciales que participan, de una manera conjunta y coordinada, en el control de diversos aspectos de la homeostasis de los queratinocitos, incluyendo la resistencia a la apoptosis, la proliferación y la diferenciación epidérmica, así como el proceso inflamatorio cutáneo. El complejo IKK es un punto central en la regulación de la actividad NF-κB y numerosas señales convergen en él.
Nuclear Factor κB (NF-κB), Phosphatydil-inositol 3 kinase (PI3K/Akt) and the Glucocorticoid receptor (GR) are essential molecules that participate in a coordinated way in the control of several aspects of the keratinocyte homeostasis, including apoptosis, epidermial proliferation and differentiation and the inflammatory response in the skin. The IκB kinase complex (IKK) is the main regulatory point of the NF-κB activity, and numerous signals converge on it.
