Abstract
Romanesque art in the ancient diocese of Tui carries out a study about Romanesque art in a complex territory like the ancient diocese of Tui, which belongs to the same bishopric authority during the Middle Ages but goes through two territories politically separated: the southwest of the province of Pontevedra and the Portuguese region of Entre Minho-e-Lima. This work addresses the study of Romanesque art from a global point of view without making a difference between both regions recognizing the diverse influence and the common workshops and highlighting the cohesive elements that generate the existence of a Romanesque art whose echoes go beyond the diocesan area and which has as spreader and receiver focus of Romanesque in the bishopric the Episcopal see.
