La nostalgia de las cosas, la arqueología de los sentimientos y el trampantojo foucaultiano

Abstract

En la Historia y las Ciencias Sociales: Antropología, Sociología y Arqueología, los autores estructuralistas y postmodernos dejaron a un lado las ideas de hombre, sentimientos, valores y contingencia. Los nuevos conceptos de estructura, lenguaje y poder pasarían a ser las nuevas claves para explicar así el pasado y el mundo social. Sin embargo los gustos y sentimientos, que estos autores negaron de plano, estuvieron presentes en sus textos de un modo oblicuo. En este artículo se expone ese doble vínculo textual a través del estudio de la historia de las cosas, la historia de los sentimientos y el análisis historiográfico de la obra maestra de Michel Foucault: Histoire de la folie á l´Âge classique.In History and the Social Sciences: Anthropology, Sociology and Archaeology, structuralist and postmodern authors disregard-ed the ideas of man, feelings, values and contingency. The concepts of structure, language and power become the new keys in order to explain the past and the social world. However, tastes and feelings that these authors flatly refused were displayed in their texts in an oblique mode. In this paper, the textual double bind of these authors is exposed through the case studies of the history of things, the history of feelings and the historiographical analysis of the master work of Michel Foucault: Histoire de la folie á l´ Âge classique
